Global Flatbreads Sampler

Flatbreads, the oldest known breads in the world, may seem intricate and exotic, but most recipes are quick, simple, and easily translated to succeed in modern home kitchens. We will prepare both leavened and unleavened breads. So many flatbreads…so little time! Our menu may include:

The French Herb Garden

By this time, the herb gardens are beginning to flourish. We’re looking at using our favorite herbs in the French manner this summer, subtly surrounding and infusing our recipes with the best of the summer crop. Our menu may include:

Sauces anytime make a ho-hum meal into something great. Our contemporaray sauces are the stars of simple and easy summer dishes. Strawberries!

Let’s hope that this year is a great season for our favorite early summer fruit. Somehow, strawberries say “New England” to us. Students will prepare classic recipes using local berries. (We always hold some of the best berries to dip in chocolate!) Our menu:
