There’s more to bread than that plastic-wrapped loaf from the grocery store! Explore the world of American breads – everything from muffins and cornbread to beautiful yeasted loaves to, of course…cinnamon rolls!
Students will spend the first four days of camp learning the basics of American quick and yeast breads. Students learn some solid culinary skills, tap into their creativity, and work together in a fast-paced environment. On the last day of camp, our students will open their bakery to “the public”, where you can partake of their treats.
The camp is for students ages 10-15 years of age (no exceptions!)
CU will provide beverages and lunch for our students each day.
The series is 5 half-days, Monday-Friday, August 21-25 , from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM each day.
