Join us to build one of the most important skills in the kitchen – how to properly handle knives. You’ll learn about the different types of kitchen knives (and when to use them), the techniques of slicing and dicing, and how to maintain your knives. Students will then step up to the prep tables to put their skills to work to create a menu using these techniques. On the menu:

  • Minestrone with Gremolata
  • Big Chopped Salad
  • Garlic and Parmesan Baked Fries

Please bring a chef’s knife (non-serrated) to class and we’ll sharpen it for you (but we have plenty of knives to use in class is you don’t have one!)
