Custom Hands-on Classes
Culinary Underground offers custom cooking classes in our kitchens. Custom classes are designed to suit your needs. Here’s how it works:
- Put together a group of students. We can handle up to 12 in our hands-on teaching kitchen.
- Work with us to pick a date and time for the class.
- Choose a menu or a culinary topic. We have menus to choose from, or we will work with you to design a menu that reflects your tastes.
- At the end, we sit down together to enjoy the meal. Expect to have plenty to eat with left-overs to take home.
- We offer adult classes, kids classes, and parent/child classes.
- Hands-on classes typically run up to 3 hours for adults, 2 hours for kids.
- We charge a minimum of $400 for up to 4 adults, and $75 for each additional adult.
- We charge a minimum of $300 for up to 4 kids, and $45 for each additional child

Custom Demonstration Classes
We also offer custom demonstration classes in our demo kitchen.
- Get together a group (from 15-30 participants); choose an interesting topic or specialty.
- Work with us to pick a day and time.
- Sit back, chat, and enjoy a terrific culinary demonstration.
- Of course, expect a tasting as well.
- Our price is $500 for 14 adults, $30 for each additional adult.
- We can also offer beer and wine for an additional charge.
Custom demo classes are a great way to entertain a larger group. Have a great time, learn something new, enjoy friends and perhaps a glass of wine.
Kid’s Birthday Parties: Let Culinary Underground create a birthday party for you. We offer kids an unbeatable combination of food, fun, and learning, with no stress for parents. The way it works:
- Put together a group of up to 14 kids, ages 8-12.
- Choose one of the kid-approved menus we provide.
- Work with us to pick a weekend date and time for class.
- We provide the instruction and birthday cupcakes to decorate.
- Our price is $350 for up to 8 kids, $25 for each additional up to 14.

Classes in Your Kitchen Perhaps you’d like to have a cooking class in your own kitchen or in another venue. We are happy to take our classes “on the road”. As with all custom classes, we work with you to select a date, time, and menu tailored to your tastes and skill level. In-home cooking classes can be hands-on or demonstration. Class size depends on the size of your kitchen, indoors or out. Our price is similar to custom classes in our kitchen, but we add $50 to $100 for our travel time depending on your location.
