There’s nothing like a cuppa and a scone! The goodies that come out of ovens all over the British Isles is pure heaven. Many of the breads and pastry we enjoy in America have their roots in England, Ireland, Wales, and Scotland and we’ll be preparing them for our bakery.
Students will spend the first four days of camp learning the basic of European breads, cakes, and pastries. Garnishing and presentation will be very important, too. Students learn some solid culinary skills, tap into their creativity, and work together in a fast-paced environment. On the last day of camp, our students will open their bakery to “the public”, where you can partake of their treats.
The camp is for students ages 10-15 years of age (no exceptions!)
CU will provide beverages and lunch for our students each day.
The series is 5 half-days, Monday-Friday, July 17-21 , from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM each day.
