COVID-19 Safety

We are excited to reopen for classes this fall! Our class schedule is now available for viewing @ www.culinaryunderground.com . We will open classes up for registration on August 15. If you are interested in holding a private event with us, you may contact us now to inquire or schedule. You may contact us directly at info@culinaryunderground.com . Private group classes will have a maximum of 12 students per class.

As we reopen, we will observe strict measures to keep everyone safe.

All students and staff are required to complete a COVID-19 Health Statement, which will be emailed to you, prior to class. Students are required to submit this statement upon entering the classroom. All students and staff must confirm they have had no contact with a possible source of COVID-19, that they have no respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, congestions, runny nose), and that their temperature is below 99F.

All students and staff will have their temperatures monitored upon entry to the school.

All students and staff are required to wear a mask for the duration of class. A mask will be provided if you do not have one with you. Class size is restricted to a maximum of 12 people.

All students and staff are required to wash or sanitize their hands frequently throughout class time, including upon entering into the classroom and prior to eating.

There will be increased cleaning of classroom surfaces throughout class time.

Students will remain at their designated workspace, with a maximum of 4 students.

There will be no sampling of food or drinking of alcoholic beverages during food preparation, except for water, which will be provided.

Students will eat their prepared food at the end of class, at their designated workstations. Students can also request to have their prepared food packaged to be sent home, instead. Staff will handle all food transferred in and out of the ovens. Staff will also be in charge of plating and serving all prepared food to students.

Students or staff who travel out of state from outside of New England are encouraged to self-quarantine for 14 days per current Massachusetts guidelines.

If you’re unable to attend class due to health or safety concerns, please contact us immediately to allow for refund.

During this time, we reserve the right to cancel a class at any time. We will notify you as soon as possible and refund your payment.
